Dog Dad Day—also known as National Dog Dad Day—is celebrated the Saturday before Father’s Day, which means it lands on June 15, 2024. And yes, it’s a real thing.

Why We Need a National Dog Dad Day
Dog dads do the work. We wipe paws, plan vet visits, and say “no, not that stick” like it’s a full-time job.
But while moms and human dads get all the brunches and cards, dog dads are still out here waiting for a holiday that hits.
And look—we’re not asking for much. Just a national moment of paws and appreciation.
