I Decide If I’m Coming Based on the Dog

I say “sounds good” while quietly running a second schedule.

I judge people who say they’re “easy with plans” but won’t commit until they’ve checked the dog’s mood, the weather, and whether the last walk counted as “a proper one”.

I don’t push it.

I just assume we’re not meeting.
